You can import them straight to the app and make it more interactive for students and teachers. When making instructional videos, teachers can record each screen individually so if they make a mistake they don't have to recreate the whole video. We will show how to utilize this app for remote instruction, individualized student feedback, creating videos with ease as it relates to math instruction (embedding equations with equation editor) and allowing students to present their work without the pressure of being in front of peers. This will also serve as a 'Seesaw Buffet' where teachers can collaborate and share ideas of things that they have used in their classroom with Seesaw.and of course we will have some Seesaw SWAG to give away! The session will address areas of interest as reported from a survey of EC teachers. The class will include ways for both Pre-K as well as ECSE teachers to work together and separately to meet the needs of their families with Seesaw. This session plans to meet each teacher at his/her comfort level of Seesaw and extend their Seesaw understanding and competence in the areas of folders, Seesaw Skills, assigning activities, creating your own Seesaw activities, and more. It also supports our ELA team by reinforcing plot and internal/external conflicts. Not everyone around the world is as fortunate to live the way we do and have the advantages in life that we have. While this project was designed to improve campus literacy, it was also designed to teach empathy. We also work with our daily curriculum to make sure we get a few library days each grading period so the kids can all work together and have comparative conversations about culture, cultural diffusion, multicultural societies and conflict. Our books range from all different reading levels, to meet the needs of each of our students and they represent as many regional settings as we could find (Africa, Latin America, Asia, Europe, America…). They have the full grading period to read the book and complete the project that accompanies the book.

As of this moment, we have found 15 books that fit our very distinct profile that the students get to choose from. My team and I have been implementing book clubs and literacy projects based on culture, multicultural societies, conflict, and empathy to our 6th grade World Cultures classes at Leo Adams Middle School.
